Which Pakistani schools is Skolex built for?
Most private schools in Pakistan run on a mix of paper registers, Excel sheets and class WhatsApp groups. It works until results week, when marks are copied from registers into spreadsheets and from spreadsheets into report cards, or until a parent says they never saw the notice about a holiday.
Skolex replaces that mix with one system for KG through Grade 12: lessons and quizzes, the gradebook, attendance, report cards, fees and parent communication. Single schools use the School plan; chains with several branches use the Network plan.
Does Skolex do report cards and announcements in Urdu?
Yes. Report card templates are multilingual and include Urdu, which matters because many parents read Urdu more comfortably than English, and school announcements can go out in English and Urdu, with a priority level so urgent notices stand out. See report card software and parent communication.
How does Skolex handle fees, dues and receipts?
Fee collection is where most of a school office's time goes. Skolex fee management keeps fee invoices, outstanding dues, reminders and receipts on each student's record, and parents see their child's fees in the parent app. Collecting fees online through a payment gateway is available on request. Fee management is part of the School and Network plans.
How do schools move off paper registers and WhatsApp groups?
Teachers mark a whole class present in one click, and a parent is notified as soon as their child is marked absent, so the office doesn't phone each family. Announcements, grades and attendance reach parents through the parent app, which runs in the phone browser parents already use. You don't have to close your WhatsApp groups; read where WhatsApp still fits.
Moving your records from Excel
Bulk-import students, teachers and classes from a spreadsheet. If your records are only on paper, type them into a spreadsheet first and import them in one go. On the School and Network plans our onboarding team helps with the migration, and live training sessions are included for your teachers.
Does Skolex work for school chains with several branches?
Yes. School groups with branches across cities use the Network plan: unlimited schools and students, managed from a single dashboard with shared reporting and branch-level permissions. The Network plan also includes custom branding, dedicated onboarding and an account manager, and pricing is agreed with each group.
How much does Skolex cost for a school in Pakistan?
The School plan costs USD 200 a month for up to 200 students. Billed yearly it's 10% less: USD 180 a month, or USD 2,160 a year. Prices are in US dollars.
