Skolex fee management keeps fee invoices, outstanding dues, reminders and receipts in the same system as your students, so the office isn't reconciling a separate register. Parents see fees in the parent app. It's included in the School and Network plans, for schools from KG through Grade 12.
Fees in the same system as your students
In many schools the fee register lives apart from everything else: a ledger, a spreadsheet or a separate accounting tool that has to be matched against the student list by hand. Every admission, withdrawal and class change has to be entered twice.
Skolex keeps fee records next to the student record they belong to. The office works from one list of students.

Track dues and send reminders
Outstanding dues are tracked per student, so the office can see who owes what without working through a ledger. Reminders go to families with unpaid fees, which replaces most of the phone calls and handwritten notes that fee collection usually depends on.
Receipts for every payment
Record a payment and Skolex issues a receipt for it. The payment and the receipt sit on the student's fee record, so a question from a parent months later can be answered from the system, not a box of carbon copies.
Online payments, on request
Collecting fees online through a payment gateway is available on request; it isn't switched on by default. Contact us to discuss it for your school.
What parents see
Parents see their child's fees in the parent app, next to grades, attendance and messages from the school. Parent access is included in the school's subscription, with no per-parent fee.
Which plans include fee management
Fee management is part of the School plan, at USD 200 a month for up to 200 students (USD 180 a month billed yearly), and the Network plan for school chains. It isn't included in the free Starter trial. See pricing for everything each plan includes.
