KG through Grade 12

K-12 School Management Software, from KG to Grade 12

Skolex is K-12 school management software that combines an LMS (lessons, quizzes, gradebook) with school administration (attendance, fees, report cards, parent communication). One system covers every stage, from KG to Grade 12, so records follow each student all the way through school.

One system from KG to Grade 12

Many schools end up with different tools for different stages: a WhatsApp group and paper diary for the early years, a spreadsheet gradebook for the middle school, and something else again for exam classes. Each one has its own logins and its own copy of the student list, and none of them talk to each other.

Skolex runs every stage in one place. The office keeps one student list; teachers use the same tools whichever grade they teach; parents with children in KG and Grade 9 use one app. When a student moves up, their history moves with them.

KG and early years

In the early years the school's relationship is mostly with parents. Daily attendance with an immediate notice when a child is absent, announcements in English and Urdu, and direct messages with the class teacher keep families informed without a paper diary going home every day. Report cards come from the same templates the rest of the school uses, with teacher and principal remarks.

Primary (Grades 1–5)

Teachers start building lessons chapter by chapter, mixing text, video, PDFs and short quizzes. Multiple-choice quizzes are graded automatically and the marks go straight into the gradebook. Attendance alerts and termly report cards keep parents up to date, and students can see new lessons as soon as they're published.

Middle school (Grades 6–8)

As subjects multiply, so do marks. Each subject can weight its marks differently in the gradebook, and assignments can be submitted as file uploads for teachers to grade in place. Students log in to their own dashboard to see lessons, quizzes and assignments, and chapter-by-chapter progress tracking shows teachers who is falling behind.

Secondary (Grades 9–12)

Timed quizzes with a countdown, a reusable question bank and an AI quiz generator help teachers prepare students for exams without building every test from scratch. Midterm and final marks total up instantly, class rankings are calculated automatically, and live classes can run through Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.

For schools that run only part of the range

Not every school runs all thirteen years. A KG–5 primary school or a KG–8 school sets up only the classes it has and uses the same modules. Pricing depends on the number of students, not the grades they're in; see pricing. Groups running several campuses at different stages can manage them together on the Network plan.
